Fields of Mistria Town Repairs & Quest Progression

Last checked: August 27, 2026. This guide uses the current 1.0.x baseline through v1.0.4. Spoiler warning: it covers the full Town Repair chain, later market vendors, the Bell Tower, and Mistril Star Town Rank progression.

The current chain has 17 planning entries. Save Wood, Stone, refined materials, ingots, Glass, Peat, Sap, Crystal, Obsidian, Voidite, Monster Cores, and Monster Blocks instead of selling every late-game material before checking the next repair.

Renown ranks and unlocks

• 0 — Wood: starting rank.
• 10 — Stone: Mines progression becomes available.
• 20 — Copper: Lost and Found.
• 30 — Ruby: Apiaries and Terrariums.
• 40 — Iron: midgame rank.
• 50 — Sapphire: weekly Crown Requests.
• 55 — Sapphire tier: Stone Refinery.
• 60 — Silver: named rank.
• 65 — Silver tier: Upgrade the Saturday Market.
• 70 — Emerald: Upgrade the Carpenter's Shop.
• 80 — Gold: Expanding the Saturday Market.
• 90 — Diamond: Repair the Bell Tower.
• 100 — Mistril: current 1.0 Renown cap and Mistril progression.

The thresholds that matter most for this chain are 55, 65, 70, 80, 90, and 100. Use each unlock threshold and permanent result as the practical planning facts.

The 17-step repair and quest chain

1. Repair the Bridge

Adeline's letter arrives on Year 1, Spring 3. Put 60 Wood and 60 Stone in the Donation Box beside the bridge, then speak to Adeline. The permanent result is the Saturday Market. See the Saturday Market guide for the weekly event and vendors.

2. Greet the Vendors

After Repair the Bridge, attend the Saturday Market and meet Darcy, Louis, Merri, and Vera, then report to Nora. The current reward listing includes 200t and a Renown reward; the exact Renown amount is not needed for the route. Later market-vendor requests depend on this introduction.

3. Restocking Mistria's Food Reserves

After the bridge repair, ship 10 crops through the Shipping Bin, then speak to Adeline. The listed item reward is 10 Potato Seeds plus Renown. Crops in storage do not satisfy the shipping objective.

4. The Mill Restoration Project

The letter follows the food-reserves quest after a documented multi-day wait, currently described as 3 days. Pay 1,000t and provide 150 Wood, 200 Stone, and 2 Copper Ingots at the Mill, then pay Adeline. The permanent result is Milling, which later matters for Cheese and animal-product progression.

5. Beautification Project

After Mill Restoration, meet Adeline in front of the Manor House. There is no large material donation listed for this step. The permanent result is access to The Summit.

6. Repair the General Store

After Beautification, donate 500 Stone, 300 Wood, 5 Copper Ingots, 5 Iron Ingots, and 3,000t outside the General Store, then pay Adeline. The current repair explicitly requires 5 Iron Ingots; older guides may be stale. The upgraded store adds the Bag Upgrade and Carrot, Peas, Sugar Cane, Tea, Onion, and Rice Stalk seeds. Balor's Wagon also gains Carrot, Peas, Sugar Cane, Tea, Rice Stalk, and Onion produce stock.

7. Repair the Beach Bridge

After the General Store, provide 50 Fiber, 300 Wood, 150 Stone, and 1,000t to Terithia. The permanent result is the west side of The Beach, including access to the Fish Trap route.

8. Restocking Mistria's Food Reserves 2

After the Beach Bridge, provide 12 Chicken Eggs and 10 Cheese. The listed item rewards are the Cow Cheese Hat and Chicken Egg Hat. Cheese is why the Mill and ranch production are useful before this point.

9. Upgrade Hayden's Barn

Provide 400 Wood, 500 Stone, 8 Iron Ingots, and 4,000t after Food Reserves 2. The upgrade unlocks Ducks, Horses, Rabbits, Sheep, Alpacas, and Capybaras; Alpacas and Capybaras additionally require reaching at least Winter 1 after the upgrade. Find the Weathervane follows as related but separate progression and unlocks the Horse Statue / Mistmare route.

10. Upgrade the Inn

Provide 10 Silver Ingots, 500 Stone, 25 Glass, 600 Wood, 10 Peat, and 6,000t after Hayden's Barn. The Inn gets expanded food / recipe inventory, and its daily soup restores double its previous Health and Stamina. Representative additions include Twice-Baked Rations, Seafood Boil, Chili Coconut Curry, Mushroom Steak Dinner, Seafood Snow Pea Noodles, Mont Blanc, Beet Soup, and Rosemary Garlic Noodles.

11. Stone Refinery

After Upgrade the Inn and Renown Level 55, provide 200 Wood, 400 Stone, 20 Sap, and 5,000t. This unlocks the Stone Refinery, a storage chest at the Mines entrance, and the Teleportation Chalice used to teleport from the Mines to the farm. The refinery supports Essence Stones and Refined Stone. The current planning threshold is 55, not 50.

12. Upgrade the Saturday Market

After Stone Refinery and Renown Level 65, provide 20 Crystal, 8 Gold Ingots, 100 Hard Wood, 20 Obsidian, and 50 Refined Stone. The upgrade adds Taliferro and Wheedle. The current Gold requirement is 8, not the older 6-ingot value. See the Saturday Market guide for vendor functions.

13. Upgrade the Carpenter's Shop

After the market upgrade and Renown Level 70, provide 30 Crystal, 100 Glass, 30 Obsidian, and 100 Refined Stone. The permanent results include the Small White Greenhouse Blueprint, Home Upgrade 4 stock, and additional Balor seeds and saplings. The current Crystal requirement is 30, not 20. 14. Expanding the Saturday Market

Official 1.0 patch notes call this the Saturday Market Plaza quest; current quest data calls it Expanding the Saturday Market. After the Carpenter upgrade and Renown Level 80 (Gold), deposit 50 Voidite, 20 Refined Stone, 5 Mistril Ingots, 10 Monster Cores, and 5 Monster Blocks in the Plaza west of the Blacksmiths, then talk to Adeline. The expansion adds Stillwell and Zorel. Current sources agree on a 50 Renown reward for the expansion itself.

15. Meet the New Vendors

After the expansion, attend the Saturday Market, meet Stillwell and Zorel, and speak to Nora. The currency reward is 1,000t.

16. Repair the Bell Tower

After Meet the New Vendors and Renown Level 90 (Diamond), provide 20 Refined Stone, 30 Hard Wood, 1 Dragon-Forged Fang, and 1 Dragon-Forged Core. The result is access to the Bell Tower, with 50 Renown and the Ringing Ovation achievement. Use the Dragon-Forged Core guide before spending the Core; the Seridia guide explains its later Final Seal relationship.

17. Reach Mistril Star Town Rank

Reach Renown Level 100. There is no separate construction-material checklist for this final rank-up; continue quests, Museum donations, and shipping. The current 1.0 endgame restoration path is Carpenter upgrade, market expansion, Meet New Vendors, Bell Tower, then Mistril 100 progression.

Quest materials worth preparing

Before late Town Repair steps, keep reserves of Wood, Stone, Hard Wood, Copper / Iron / Silver / Gold / Mistril Ingots, Glass, Peat, Sap, Crystal, Obsidian, Refined Stone, Voidite, Monster Cores, and Monster Blocks. The chain uses these in different combinations, and rare Mines materials can also be needed for the Dragon-Forged route, Museum, or crafting.

Do not treat every reward's Renown number as authoritative when current community and game-data tables disagree. The material requirements and unlock results above are the stable player-facing checklist.

When a quest does not appear

1. Confirm the required previous Town Repair is complete.
2. Confirm the required Renown Level.
3. Sleep or advance a day, then check mail.
4. Check the Journal for an already active objective.
5. For Saturday Market vendor objectives, make sure it is actually Saturday.
6. Update the game before relying on a workaround; post-1.0 patches corrected several quest and vendor issues.

v1.0.3 stopped requests from new Saturday Market vendors appearing before those vendors arrive. v1.0.4 fixed Stillwell's defeated-monster tracking and the MISSING monster names in his objectives. For weekly vendor details, use the Saturday Market guide; for seasonal timing, use the Calendar.
