Last checked: August 27, 2026. This is a complete seasonal farming reference for a 28-day season. Most outdoor crops are seasonal and wither at the end of day 28 if the incoming season does not support them; normal seasonal crops can grow year-round inside a Greenhouse. Rain, storms, snow, and blizzards automatically water crops.

Farming rules that affect planning

Regrowing crops have a first Growth Time, then a shorter Regrowth Time after each harvest. For an outdoor final harvest by day 28, the standard no-skill cutoffs are:

  • 4-day crop: plant by day 24.
  • 5-day crop: plant by day 23.
  • 6-day crop: plant by day 22.
  • 9-day crop: plant by day 19.

The Harvest Time perk makes a slow-growing crop reach its first harvest one day earlier. These cutoffs do not apply the same way inside a Greenhouse because Greenhouse crops are not forced to stop at the seasonal boundary.

Seed-source labels below mean:

  • General Store: normal seasonal stock.
  • After repair: the repaired / upgraded General Store is required.
  • Foraging / Prepared Picker: the plant is forageable, and the Farming Tier 1 Prepared Picker perk can make a growable forageable drop a seed.
  • Bountiful: the Tier 2 perk can make watering drop that crop's seed.
  • Seed Maker: after the store upgrade, buy the Seed Maker for 2,000t; it instantly converts one valid crop or applicable forageable into 1-3 matching seeds. It does not turn fruit into saplings.
  • Balor's Wagon: conditional rotating stock, not a guaranteed daily source.

Tea leads after store repair; before it, Corn and Tomato tie. Watermelon is the strongest standard single-harvest crop. Sugar Cane also matters for processing into Sugar.

Fall crops

  • Celosia — General Store; seed 15t; first harvest 4 days; no regrow; base sell 25t.
  • Sweet Potato — General Store; seed 25t; first harvest 4 days; no regrow; base sell 40t.

  • Wheat — General Store; seed 300t; first harvest 9 days; regrow 3 days; base sell 150t.

Fall direct-sale baseline

Under the same assumptions: Onion 780t (8 harvests), Rice Stalk 750t (7), Wheat 750t (7), Cranberry 700t (8), Pumpkin 330t (3 plantings), Broccoli 140t (4), Sweet Potato 90t (6), Celosia 60t (6), and Chrysanthemum 40t (4) approximate profit per tile. Onion is strongest after store repair. Rice Stalk makes Rice and Wheat makes Flour, so processing can matter more than raw sale.

  • Snapdragon — Foraging / Prepared Picker; Seed Maker; first harvest 6 days; no regrow; base sell 40t.
  • Daikon Radish — General Store; seed 70t; first harvest 9 days; no regrow; base sell 180t.
  • Jasmine — Foraging / Prepared Picker; Seed Maker; first harvest 9 days; regrow 3 days; base sell 35t.

Winter direct-sale baseline

Under the same assumptions: Snow Peas 700t (8 harvests), Daikon Radish 330t (3 plantings), Cauliflower 140t (4), Beet 90t (6), Frost Lily 60t (6), and Poinsettia 40t (4) approximate profit per tile. Snow Peas are the strongest purchased Winter regrower; Daikon Radish is the strongest normal single-harvest crop.

All-season and special seeds

Temple Flower grows in all seasons. It is foraged around Caldarus' Temple, and seeds come through Prepared Picker, Bountiful, or Seed Maker. Once you have a seed, it can be planted outdoors in any season. It takes 9 days for the first harvest, regrows in 3 days, and sells for 25t. It is not a normal year-round General Store seed.

The Tier 5 Earthly Essence perk gives harvested crops a low chance to drop a Magic Seed. Keep Magic Seed output separate from normal seasonal crop profit tables; it is a separate Almanac / Seasons economy.

General Store repair and regrower timing

The repaired store adds Carrot and Peas in Spring; Cosmos, Sugar Cane, and Tea in Summer; Onion and Rice Stalk in Fall; and no additional crop seed identified here in Winter. Connect this checkpoint to the Town Repairs guide.

A 300t, 5-day / 3-day regrower such as Strawberry, Peas, Corn, Tomato, Tea, Cranberry, Onion, or Snow Peas needs three harvests to clearly recover its seed cost through direct sales. Without a growth-speed perk, plant by day 17 for harvests on days 22, 25, and 28; planting on day 18 normally gives only two. This warning does not apply the same way to free seeds, Greenhouse crops, or crops needed for cooking, Museum, requests, gifts, or Seed Maker conversion.

Rice Stalk and Wheat cost 300t, take 9 days, regrow in 3 days, and sell for 150t. Plant by Fall 13 for three harvests; later planting may still be useful for Rice or Flour.

Farming perks and magic

  • Tier 1, Level 1: Prepared Picker (10 Essence) can drop growable forageable seeds; Green Thumb (15) can sometimes water the planted tile; Refreshing (10) can sometimes refund watering Stamina.
  • Tier 2, Level 15: Bountiful (60) can drop a seed when watering; Well Watered (50) can sometimes keep crops watered through the next day.
  • Tier 3, Level 30: Living off the Land (95) can drop a cooked dish; Superb Sower (100) spreads charged seed planting; Harvest Time (90) makes slow crops reach first harvest one day earlier; Prize Winning (90) can drop coins based on 5% of the crop's selling price.
  • Tier 4, Level 45: Sickle Sword (150) harvests crops with the sword; Magic Design (160) unlocks Giant Essence Stones that can power a statue for 40 days.
  • Tier 5, Level 60: Earthly Essence (210) gives harvested crops a low chance to drop a Magic Seed.

Summon Rain calls a brief rainstorm and waters all crops. Growth fully grows crops in a 3x3 area, advances a Fruit Tree one stage, and can be used on regrowing forageables. Do not calculate normal profitability assuming repeated Growth casts.

Fruit trees

Fruit Tree saplings cost 400t from the General Store, can be planted in any season, and need a completely clear 3x3 area. Growth takes 14 days; once mature, the tree produces 3 fruits every 3 days. Outdoor trees fruit only in their matching season, while Greenhouse trees fruit year-round. All seven standard fruits sell for 45t each at base quality.

  • Spring: Cherry, Lemon.
  • Summer: Peach, Pear.
  • Fall: Apple, Orange.
  • Winter: Pomegranate.

After Upgrade the Carpenter's Shop, Balor's Wagon can conditionally sell saplings year-round at the same 400t price. Trees need clearance and are space-inefficient inside a Greenhouse compared with ordinary crop tiles. Use the Greenhouse guide and Farm Layout guide before committing a tree block.

Practical crop decisions

Early in a season, prioritize strong regrowers if raw-sale income is the goal: Spring Peas after repair or Strawberry; Summer Tea after repair or Corn / Tomato; Fall Onion after repair, with Rice, Wheat, or Cranberry also strong; Winter Snow Peas. Mid-season, compare days remaining with first growth time and ask whether an expensive regrower has enough cycles left to repay its seed. Late in the season, short single-harvest crops are safer.

Do not optimize only for raw sell price. Preserve crops needed for cooking, milling, Museum sets, requests, Crown Requests, gifts, Seed Maker conversion, seasonal events, or crafting. The direct-sale numbers above assume Day 1 planting, immediate watering and replanting, a fresh purchased seed for every single-harvest replant, only the initial purchased seed cost for regrowers, no Bountiful free seeds, no quality modifier, no Prize Winning, no Growth, no Harvest Time, no processing, and no Greenhouse extension; they are baseline comparisons, not universal true profit. The Greenhouse provides 5x5 (25) spaces for Small and 10x10 (100) for Large; see the Greenhouse guide for its costs and unlock.

For automatic watering, continue to the Water Sprite and Sprinkler Guide. For a space plan, use the Farm Layout guide.

Tip

Use the crop lists as a planning reference, then reserve space for processing, the Greenhouse, and later farm expansion.

Note

Profit baselines use the stated 28-day, no-skill comparison assumptions; they are not a promise of final daily profit in every save.
