Fields of Mistria Water Sprite & Sprinkler Guide

Water Sprite Statues automate nearby watering, but they are not free infinite sprinklers. They require an Essence Stone and consume Essence as they operate. Plan crop blocks around their radius and keep the resource cost in mind.

How Water Sprite automation works

The normal Water Sprite Statue waters within a 2-tile radius, costs 10 Refined Stone and 50 Essence, requires its recipe-variant material, and needs Woodcrafting Level 20. The radius is a coverage constraint for layout planning, not a whole-farm guarantee.

Normal and Large coverage

The Large Water Sprite Statue waters within a 3-tile radius, costs 15 Refined Stone and 75 Essence, and needs Woodcrafting Level 30. It is connected to the Big Water Sprites Skill.

Both statues require an Essence Stone to operate and consume Essence. Do not use the phrases “no upkeep” or “infinite watering” for this system.

Essence and weather behavior

Some stored Essence is spent on normal watering days and the remaining charge decreases as the statue operates. Breaking a charged statue refunds unused Essence as Essence Stones. Inclement and Heavy Inclement weather days do not consume Essence. A fixed “Essence per crop” rate is not provided, so plan around the statue’s charge and weather behavior instead.

Greenhouse planning

The verified Water Sprite range inside the Greenhouse is 3 tiles. A Small Greenhouse has 25 interior crop spaces and a Large Greenhouse has 100; use the range to design smaller watered blocks instead of assuming the room is automatically covered. Build a layout around coverage

• Put the most frequently watered crop tiles inside the 2-tile or 3-tile working radius.
• Leave a walkable route to refill, inspect, or rearrange the productive area.
• Use rainy, stormy, snowy, or blizzard days as free watering days where the weather rules apply; statues do not consume Essence on Inclement or Heavy Inclement days.
• Reserve Essence Stones and Refined Stone before placing a large automated block.
