Fields of Mistria has more than 30 villagers and twelve marriage candidates. Use a directory to find a villager's role, birthday, romance status, gift route, schedule, and heart progression without mixing every character into one long biography.

What the character directory should answer

The useful first answer is usually small: who is this villager, when is their birthday, can I romance them, and what should I bring? A directory should make those fields visible before any spoiler-heavy story material.

Each villager has a role, birthday, romance status, gifts, schedule, and heart progression. That makes a directory more useful than a list of names because it connects the character to the actions a player can take today.

Romance candidates

The twelve romance candidates are Adeline, Balor, Caldarus, Celine, Eiland, Hayden, Juniper, March, Reina, Ryis, Seridia, and Valen. The romance and proposal system continues through 10 hearts, marriage, and optional children.

Not every villager is romanceable, but non-romanceable villagers still have friendship scenes and rewards. Keep the directory broad, then let individual pages handle gifts, schedules, and heart events in more detail.

Use gifts and schedules together

Different characters naturally pair with different parts of the economy. Mined items are convenient for some villagers, crops and flowers for others, and cooked dishes for others. A gift answer is often more useful than a long personality paragraph.

Schedules add the practical layer. A player with the right gift still needs to find the character, so the directory should connect the villager page to current location and schedule information.

Keep spoilers out of quick answers

General character pages should keep proposal and major heart-event details below the quick-reference section. Endgame romance content is available for all twelve candidates, but those details are best placed below the answer a player came for.

Tip

Start with the player's immediate need: birthday, role, romance status, easy gift, or today's likely location.

Note

Detailed heart-event and proposal scenes belong on individual character pages, with spoilers kept below the quick-reference section.
