The Auto-Feeder unlocks from Hayden's Shop at Ranching Level 45 for 5,000 Tesserae. It fits Large Barns and Large Coops, refills their troughs each morning, and reduces the repetitive job of filling them manually.

What the Auto-Feeder changes

The feeder accepts eligible food and uses it as feed, then refills troughs as part of the morning animal-care routine. Its value is time: a ranch with several large animal buildings can turn manual trough filling into a repeated chore, while the feeder handles that part of the routine.

This is a quality-of-life system rather than a new animal product. You still need a working ranch setup and suitable food. The feeder reduces one repetitive task so the morning can include crops, requests, town errands, or other progression.

Why ranch size matters

On a small ranch, manual feeding may be easy enough to manage. The benefit becomes clearer as the farm adds more large animal buildings and daily care takes a meaningful portion of the morning.

That makes the Auto-Feeder a planning decision. A ranch-heavy farm gets more value from automation than a save whose animals are only a small part of the daily routine.

How the stack action behaves

A later quality-of-life change adjusted the auto-stack action. It continues stacking types already present in the feeder instead of vacuuming every eligible food item from the player's inventory.
